Holidays... or not

So first weekend after school finished, spent a lot of time with Lenny whom I haven't seen in 3 months (he lives in Brisbane), Juno (whom I haven't seen in 3 months also as he lives so far away) and a new face, Jacob what's-your-last-name from Knox.

Events of the Day

Paddy's Market (Side story, me and Lenny couldn't find Juno for literally 30 minutes at Central Station) - We failed, couldn't find anything we wanted other than a wallet but the shop owner was too pro with his eyes and so I had to pull off this extra-ordinary to convince the owner that I wasn't lifting anything. Kind of walk around the corner to hold it up to my friend and ask 'How is it?', try it next time you are caught).

Internet Cafe, CoD 4 and SCII - Noob Tubers and RPG-ers are so bad, get some skills son!

Lunch, at this Korean place with Jacob and the others. Had fun, was supposed to get alcohol but apparently they required all our id's...

... And some genuinely embarrassing moments afterwards...

I don't know, it was enjoyable but also at the same time bad... No alcohol, WTF. And now Lenny is over at my place and we are doing nothing.

Okay, so I know that most of you have started you holidays and it is great, however for me and a couple of other year 9's, 10's and 11's are coming back on Monday and Tuesday at 7 am to volunteer our service for the EEC held in NSBHS. We are giving up about 11 hours per day (which is longer than school), the only up side to this is that I a) get a 4 point merit award, and b) receive a 20 hour volunteering service.

Hopefully, it will turn out better than I hope, however we also do need to go to Berry Island straight after to instruct the teachers on how to operate the machinery, only to come back to school (which will be around 6 pm) and pack up the hall which will also take around 1~2 hours. Yeah. Fun.

Let's take out minds back to when WarCraft III came out as I got back into playing WarCraft III - Frozen Throne. This time, it is all about hero's and epic battles to level and protect your base from hordes of dangerous enemies. It is Chaos Defense for WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne.

Released all the way back in mid 2003, it has seen its fair share of popularity until the massively popular custom map 'DotA' was released. However, the custom map I am going to be talking about today is not DotA, but a defense map, similar to Hero Siege. I have invested about 5 hours in one day, continuously for about a week.

You choose the difficulty then you choose your Hero. Choose the ability that you will get ranging from +30 dmg per level, 1.5x exp and/or money, etc, etc.

Haha, it was fun today with muck-up day for the year 12's graduate assembly tomorrow, but no I got squirted by their water gun and my bag is completely wet D: We had fun with the masses of cling wrap, just unroll the whole wrap and set traps so people cannot get through corridors :) GOOD WORK GUYS!

Aside from this, nothing much happened in terms of school likewise, I got a reasonable mark for my reproduction assignment (90%) and we happened to sleep through english like always although it was a bit harder with our original teacher back. Food tech with student teacher and handed in my assignment and geez, she is a nice teacher, didn't take off any marks for a section I didn't do :P

Nothing else much happened, same old day with my second last week of peer mediation training before I finally get my shiny new badge ^_^

Okay, I am going to make a small note on why I didn't blog these days. 

1) The url above 'oandkj.blogspot.com' is meant for someone and we had a little disagreement and so I didn't blog for a while as there would be no point

2) I really had nothing to blog about other than depressing facts

3) I was genuinely busy with my school work and seeming how it is the end of term, I guess I can find time a lot easier now

And I guess you can blame me a little, but still hold your tongues as I did make an announcement in my previous blog that I wouldn't be blogging nearly as much as I did. To me blogging is like a diary where you write things which you wouldn't tell in real life but then again you should and you just cannot. I think this is an effective way, that way at least you get it off your mind and the person who you are telling it to can read it at their leisure. Therefore, unless I have something to share with you all, I probably will not blog.

This is going to be a short post or was going to be before I realised I had started another game from way back in year 7, Combat Arms. 

 Combat Arms, a moderately popular FPS hosted by Nexon

So I quit combat arms when I realised by main character had been permanently banned for harassment (which was aimed at a hacker and he didn't get banned, GOOD JOB NEXON!) and I really didn't find the part within me to restart. But after pleading by classmates who wish for me to join their clan because I am that much pro, I decided to restart the game. 

-My IGN is hoga_ck just in case you were wondering, started 2 days ago

Combat Arms has bad graphics, but has the core gameplay at hand; much like counter strike only worse. For one, I have played 5 games so far and 4 of them had at least one hacker and secondly, using NX (Nexon Cash) can gain you an unfair boost over other non-nx players who still has the skill to play. This is one of the main reasons which I quit the game.

My opinion after coming back to it maybe an year or so, nothing had changed, if anything players play even more bad mannered and some even believe hacking is the right thing to do in a game. It brought down the entire game for me, and I do not know whether I will be playing it any longer, still it will probably stick with me for a while.

However, I suppose the real fun of the game comes from the fact that the game does not intend for you to play seriously. Whilst some are professional players, most are people who find COD too realistic for their liking and TF2 too cartoonish. I suppose in that aspect, this can have a reasonable market.

9/11, huh what?

Okay, so I am going to start off today's blogpost with the subject: 9/11

Call me insensitive, a bastard, a douche for that matter, but why are we suddenly remembering people who died 10 years ago? We don't go RIP victims who died 65 years ago and millions died in that time. I get the fact that we mourn for the firefighters who died trying to save them or a war veteran who died trying to protect Australia (because we live in Australia), but suddenly all of this crap because all of a sudden its been 10 years and therefore we should remember them? Psst. As if. You people wouldn't care if people died so why now...? Maybe I am being a little too insensitive but it really annoys me when people just pretend to care 10 years after it happened.

My last point is- how many people die in Africa everyday? People called me insensitive as they I said I do not care who died as long as no one that I know died, and guess what? Hundred fold died more in the past decade in Africa due to US and you know what? No one cares because they don't know them. My point being that at least pretend to care about other people too, or don't at all because really? It just seems as though you are just pretending to be good people :)

Starting off my day with a wake up call from surprisingly a different person and then fell asleep only to wake up again at 10 due to my proper wake up call :) Kind of got alerted by my friend's text and so I travelled to Chatswood only to see she wouldn't tell me the real reason so ended up listening to rants again :P Still a good way to spend an hour.

Camp, camp, camp!

Ok so today I'll start off my post with the subject 'camp', mostly due to our school camp early on next term and also the fact my dongseng is on camp as well.

Well lets say today's year meeting about camps was not expected but still welcome as it got most of us out of English classes :D But aside from this, it was still an eye opener to what we can expect as it was nothing like our previous camps. No street lights, no comfortable cabins just a tent to survive in the beach was quite an exciting thought.

That was the daily schedule of Rachel's first day according to her anyway 0.o Sounds pretty... Okay-ish? Iuno. I went to the place where she is right now in Year 7 for camps, only thing is we got crappy green tents and they get cabins (We were all like 'green! greeeen.... all the way...' then saw a spider and my friend was like 'EAT IT EAT IT NOW' then we grabbed it and kinda forced it into his face... One of the legs disappeared after it went into his mouth XD True story....). 

Random Story

So right now our science subject is 'Reproduction' and yes it gets quite awkward when we have to watch a video or have to do an assignment on it. However we have received an assignment sheet and we have to work based on reproduction and I have chosen 'Sexual Identity'. For those who don't know, Sexual Identity is homosexual people, Transgenders, etc. However the only problem with this is that I cannot research these things without my mum peeking over the shoulders as my room door is open when I do assignments. So by now you can probably imagine how it is.

Today, I was thinking 'Yes I should really start now!' and so I opened up mozilla firefox and hoped like hell that my mum wouldn't waltz into my room. And what do you know... As soon as I type in the word 'Gay' and press enter into google, my mum sees the first or second link which says 'Gay Porn' and it went along the line of...

'Chris do you want some Strawberries?'

-Stares into my screen

'Mum, I can explain this is...'

'I..  I am sorry, I didn't realise you were into this... I'll be more careful next time...'

'NO WAIT MUM NO! I CAN EXPLAIN THIS!'

I woke up thanks to a phone call by a very special alarm ;), and found some random messages on my skype which gave me a nice surprise XD Sorry, didn't think you'd mind that much but yes I'll call you and text first :P

Playing guitar for about an hour before I realised how pointless it was so then I just kinda blanking out for 30 minutes... I feel really sick and I realised it was due to hayfever. FML, it is sooo frustrating!

So lets talk about my dongseng because she deserves it :) We haven't been related for too long, about a month at most, although it has been about 3 weeks at best, but seriously, we are about as close as you'll see family together XD Hmm what else, I know that I don't want her to cry because then it makes me sad too (yes so don't cry D: ) and right now, you make me happy :) But no really, I had no idea that we'd get this close in such a short amount of time but you know what? Every second was worth it :P So anyways I'm going to wrap this section up... But before I do that,

I went to the Hornsby Girl's fete because my dongseng goes there and I expected to have a good time, if not a reasonably well spent time. And I ended up following her and her friend for... 2 hours? I don't know, I was happy with the fact that I got fairy floss to eat then I ended up buying KFC but I didn't feel like it so other people ate it D:

Internet Cafe was the highlight of the day, it didn't have any multiplayer fps, only had SC II and I was with Chong as well so the three of us were just stoning for half an hour before I was smart enough to play SC II.

The person who you were with today at the very beginning was actually so adorable D: I was like stare... WAIT SHES LOOKING DON'T STARE FOR A WHILE, stare again... But she was acting so much like an actual child, iuno. that might be why she was so... so... adorable.

I'm actually pretty depressed right now

Why? Hahaha, I can't tell you yet, but I promise to tell you all when the time comes. But no, it's happening unfortunately D: I'm so frustrated and even more so now that I realise that why I was frustrated. Don't ask me to tell you, I told one person and that person is depressed as it is and wished I didn't tell them.

I don't know, did I enjoy my trip until now? So many questions running in my head...

A man walks into a hamburger shop and orders a regular meal. Later, the waitress brings his meal to him. He takes a bite out of it, and notices there's a small hair in the hamburger. He begins yelling frantically at the waitress, "Waitress, there's a hair in my hamburger! I demand to see what is going on!"

So, the waitress takes him back where the cook is and to his demise, he sees the cook take the meat patty and flatten it under his arm pit. He says, "That's disgusting!"
Then the waitress says, "You think that's disgusting you should see him make donuts."
